Happy Mother Day!!!!!!

Happy Mothers Day to all you cute mothers. For those of us who are first time mothers I'm sure you can agree when I say Oh yeah it's mother day for me too (ha ha).

What a wonderful mothers day I had. We talked to both missionaries, Jill in New York, John in Paraguway spanish speaking. But both speak really good spanish and are loving the work and the people. My other brother Spencer also called for Washington D.C. He is working out there for the summer and the oldest Dave called from Iowa where he and his wife Lindsy live. So mom got a lot of phone calls that day. We had a BBQ and enjoyed the calls.

Ealier that week Steve and I went to Boston for his brothers wedding. MaKenna stayed home with my mom. Josh and Jaylynne got married the 9th of May at the Boston Temple. All brothers in Steve's family are now married! We had a lot of fun seeing the sights and going to the wedding. We also celebrated our anniversary. Two years ago we were married, boy how time fly's!!! The weather was nice a cool until the wedding and then it rained of course but Jaylynne was a trooper and stood for all the pictures. That night at the reception fun was had by all! There was a light dinner for the family and then pictures then the reception began. The huge old house sat on 38 acers but was once a thriving farm house with 400 acers. There was catering with all kinds of meat on a stick, shrimp, steak, chicken, and some fun egg rolls to dip. Included was some veggies and fruit to gather yourself from the table. But the party is not over yet, there was a live band and we danced the night away. By 11:30 pm we all started to head to the hotels. Needles to say I was sore the next day. It was fun to see the family join together and have some fun. But before all this Steve and I along with some of his family went to the Sacred Grove in Palymra New York

Walking through the Sacred Grove in Palymra New York.

In this vast area of trees, it was somewhere in this grove that the young boy named Joseph Smith prayed to know which church was true. It is such a quiet and peaceful feeling, a feeling that is different from any other feeling in any grove of trees anywhere else.
