Greeting all!
Hope everyone is staying warm so far this winter season. With the negitive numbers we get at night and the snow that keep falling, we'll have winter til June. At least the water tables will be up this year.
We had a wonderful experience seeing President Hinckley's casket. We headed down on friday for the last day of the viewing right after work and though we'd be pushing it to be there by 6:45pm. When we got there we had our answer. There was a least a 2 hour wait outside. The lines wrapped around the conference center. So mom and the baby stayed in the car while dad was in line. At 8:30 pm we were in the door and had another 3 hours at least before we got up to the same floor at the casket. To help all the people there they guilded us into the main room so we could sit while we waited. We asked one of the ushers how many people they were going to let in and he said as long as people keep coming they will let them in. They feared if they didn't President Hinckley would come down and bop them on the head with his cane (ha ha). About 5,000 people were in front of us, waiting to stand up and go but it's amazing how smooth the kept things running. They had people constantly moving. By 11:00 we saw him. Even though we waited for hours it was an honor to show our respect to him.

So glad you got to go to the viewing. It was amazing, wasn't it. I heard about how they extended the viewing on Friday night. It's been an emotional time for me and an exciting one to see Pres. Monson and his counselors in the new First Presidency.
